Loose fit across hips and bum, and wide through the leg featuring an elasticated bloomer (or “Tulip” as we like to say) gather at the ankle.

The Tulip Trousers are designed to be worn loose and should never feel tight or restrictive, especially across the hips and bum.

This fabric has no stretch, we recommend allowing 2-3” extra across the hips and bum when you compare your measurements to those below.

With regards to the length of your Tulip Trousers, we measure from waistband to hem, unrolled. This is because the Tulip Trousers feature a slightly dropped crotch and so the inside leg measurement on its own can seem short.

The waist measurement below corresponds to the unstretched elastic measurement, our elastic will comfortably stretch 4+” (we don’t recommend an exact amount of stretch due to individual preference here and instead recommend finding your size from the hips measurement, as outlined below.)

With regards to the measurements below, please allow a few inches spare across the hips/bum to get the most out of your Tulip Trousers.

Please also bear in mind that this garment does not have fastenings, and is pulled on, up over the hips.

To find the right size, we recommend selecting the hip measurement 2-3” larger than your own.
