The STALF Overalls have been a long time coming.
Our Cocoon Jumpsuits have been our best selling item by far, season after season. The Overalls have been sitting in my mind for just as long, working themselves out. About a year and a half ago, I began toilling up a version of the style. I cut the pattern based on the ideas that had been stewing in my mind, excitedly chopped the fabric and legged it over to the nearest machine to make up. It didn't work... at all! I left the idea for the time being.
Ever since, the Overalls have been sitting there, in the corner of my brain, nagging with every new launch- a Jumpsuit-shaped hole in each new collection released.
This season, we did it.
I'm so, so happy to share this new piece with you. At our recent Autumn pre-order event up in Edinburgh, the Overalls were the most tried on item. Everyone who pulled them on looked fabulous, and felt even better- hands instantly went to pockets, eyes rolled with delight and a heads were thrown back with a simultaneous "OH MY GOD!!!" ... You know how it is when you find a piece of clothing you will wear and wear.
My smile got wider with every reaction- this was exactly how I wanted the Overalls to make my customers feel. After all this time, today is the day we release them into the wild!

A little about the style-
It's all about the layering. The Overalls were designed to be the comfiest of partners to all the old faithful tees and knits hanging in your wardrobe. For this reason, this style is slightly roomier than our Cocoon Jumpsuits- we've opted for a slightly longer length in the body and a little more width across the hips to accommodate. The shape has all the ease and comfort of the Cocoon styles, with a crisp, open front to easily allow you to pull the garment on.
I know you always love to see some ideas of how to style our pieces, so I roped in my sister Ava. FYI, she's 5ft9 and a size 12-14. Here she's chosen to wear a medium standard, but she could also happily opt for a large for a more slouchy, oversized look. To see how the Overalls look oversized, take a look at our product pages.
